WOW! I remember the thrill when I sourced these babies. They are a pair of Venetian mirrors. The thrill of my job is the hunt for the right piece. The collection of vintage plates is pretty special too!
This house is very vertical with many openings, a ton of windows, so I took advantage of the walls above the chair rail with this gorgeous hand painted panel by Gracie Studios. What a way to be greeted – Welcome!
No rug required. When I reflect on this room, I am reminded how the client really did not want a rug under foot as they got out of bed and were open to something other than stained.
Detail is key! Banding the hem of our window treatments is always a clever detail.
Who doesn’t love blue? A Dutch colonial interior sheared down to the studs, then rebuilt and furnished for present day.
Detailing window seat cushions are one of my favorite elements. We contrast button tufted the seat as well contrasted the gusset box and added a decorative tape for more interest. What a great spot to perch.
One of my favorite ceilings!
Viewpoints from all angles.

It’s a swirl of a day.
